Post subject: Flaming Guandi

Gotta be the worst rip off ever in my drinking history. The drink cost 180 standing out and triple the cost of other already price-jacked cocktails there. Now I don't really mind the price tag since I guess it is almost the same price I would pay in New York or LA for such a drink, could be even more anyway, what blew me off was the bartender barely knew how to lit the flame, the first 2 glass the flame only lasted for barely 3 seconds before we even zipped the whole thing off, fortunately the 3rd glass kinda made up for it, its flame lasted until we zipped the whole thing. Still I was not satisfied, for such a price I expect some flaming action and at least bartender skills. I had the same drink in guangzhou and the bartender really know how to make the stuff with SKILL!, moreover for only less than a half of flaming guandi's cost. I'm so disappointed, suppposedly one of the most classy place in Shanghai but gave such a service. Sorry for the rant but I posted this as a warning for you guys who are ever curious with the mighty-priced drink, never order this damn drink unless you don't mind and know what you will get.

I think you should try a few tequlias at the Kangaroo Bar with the Fiddler instead. I have not been that drunk for quite a while!
