Post subject: Qingdao Beer Festival

Thinking about going to this August 15th for the opening weekend. Can't really find too much about it as far as reviews go. Has anyone been? Is it worth it?

If you aren't chinese, you are always outnumbered so run. Especially don't wait there and laugh at the guy when he's trying to smash a plastic bottle on the table Very Happy

Actually last year we had a good time and got into no fights, just a small altercation with some very drunk locals. Though the fun mostly comes from massive consumption. Very Happy

As long as you sort of expect drunken behaviour from drunkards its okay. if you expect them to act civilly then you're in the wrong place. And I'm talking about anyone whos there not just locals.

Downtown Qing Dao itself is also a nice small town to walk around from the Beach to the Church.
