Put up a Ku dish with an LNB pointing at the satellite at 93.5°E (93.5 degrees east)

The LNB output goes into a DiSecq switch (if you have other dishes, if not, no need), along with whatever other satellite dish/lnb's you have, then the output from the switch goes to your satellite decoder.

You configure the decoder for the switch, and search for the channels on the relevant transponders at the satellite of choice, then watch tv as appropriate.

I still recommend DM500 or similar for that, its documented to the teeth on the internet.

Installing the dish is piss easy, just need to point it roughly at the right location, tell the satellite decoder what signal you are looking for, then tweak till the signal levels get high.

This is of course assuming that we get coverage within the satellites footprint. Its also possible that we're not. SatelliteTV will probably know.

Rough costs for diy -
Dish = +- 150rmb
LNB = 30rmb
Decoder = +-500RMB
Cable = 20-30rmb

Installation if diy = +-30min time, fiddling with decoder settings another 30 min or so.

You'll have to find your own.

The installers change as its illegal here for the most part, and when they get caught, they go to jail. Just look for a flyer.

DIY probably easiest, and you'll know what you're getting.
Or ask a chinese friend to organize.

I know how to do it, but its not really in my scope, and its more for my own fun.
