| Post subject: anybody here working in marketing? |
Hey everyone, I'm looking for some advice from people doing business in China.
I know that after I graduate I want to work there but am still not sure whether I'm more interested in B2B trading or doing marketing for some company. If there are people out there doing marketing in China, could you guys tell me a bit about the companies/industries you work at and maybe some of your key tasks as I'm sure the types of companies over there and the role for marketers may be quite different from America. Just curious, are there people working in the Green energy or health industry? Looking forward to your replies!

Glad to read your message. I work in Shanghai as a sales manager in a electric company. In my opinion, there are many big b2b website in China, the competition in B2B trading market is fierce, such as made-in-china.com, alibaba.com, etc. I think, the Chinese market need professional people, who not only know the market well, but also know the professional knowledge. the Green energy or health industry is a promissing industry, the government encourge this field, because China pay more attention to the environment protection now.
This is a good time for you to enter into the China market, if you have advanced technology, management or good American brand. |
