Post subject: 1601 Beijing Xi Lu Game Store New Arrivals

This store has the best selection and usually gets new games first, but it is a bit of a trek for me to get there. Sometimes I spend all the time getting over there only to find that they don't yet have the game I want (even if it has leaked to the internet or has been released legitimately already). I'm going to start this thread and hopefully others who frequent the store can add new games when they see them so we end up with a list of all the games they have.

Here is what is new:

481: Batman: Arkam Asylum
482: Raven Squad: Operation Hidden Dagger
483: Guitar Hero 5
484: (Some Japanese Game)
485: Halo ODST
486: Mini Ninjas
487: Rockband: The Beatles!
488: Dirt 2
489: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
490: (Some Japanese Game)
491-495:
High School Musical Dance 3
Gears of War 2 All Fronts (Chinese)
Need For Speed: Shift
Fable II: GOTY edition
Heroes Over Europe
496: Wet
497: Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs
498: Qubed
499: FIFA10
500: Halo: ODST (double disc, with online MP)
501: NBA2K10
502: Japanese Game
503: NBA Live 10

I did like Wolfenstein. Not the top rated game but scores a 7.5 out of 10

Are these PS3 games? I'm tempted for Rock Band: Beatles for the Wii if its out.

What's the deal in that place for buying NDS games? They're just going to transfer the ROM onto your memory card, so how much do they charge? Are there lists of the new games available for NDS?

Games that sucked - Terminator, new game. The pits, horrid, became a flying disk as I saw how far I could fling it.

Eat Lead, not so great.

Seems a lot of games that come out for Xbox just really suck.

They have PS3 and Wii games. I have no idea about NDS or prices as I only go there for the xbox games.

Its got mediocre list of ps3 games since their bd's, xbox and copied games well their 5rmb anywhere you go. PS3 games are a bit overpriced compared to taobao. If your willing to throw the cash, they got it.

They have the NDS ROMS on their PC and on discs, I have a few if you want to grab some including the new GTA Chinatown wars game if you need to grab any.

Other than Guiter Hero / Rockband drum/guitar kits I don't think they have any real xBox games. I don't see the motivation for them to do so when all their customers can buy the same thing for 5 kuai.

I had my european xbox modded there, can't play quite some games due to region protection tho (still cant play all region games), cost 100 rmb and i could watch them do it (altho they first wanted me to come back a day later, that was a bit strange)...
other than that they also have Dirt 2 now, not sure on the number but i bought that as well as some other games..

Do you know if they can do the same thing for the Wii there (I think in Chinese the verb is "shua")?

Did you actually play online, or just stick the disc in? They can ban you either way, but the 2nd I think you'd be safer, especially if it didn't make a save game.

just sticked it in for a second, but it's in my achievement list, can't delete it unless i connect to xbox live... guess if i delete my gamer profile and recover it that would work, but i'd prefer not to...

Dirt 2 is great fun, and to the earlier poster they should have a modding service for the Wii after all they sell them already modded, plus they have the homebrew software etc..
