A New Giant bike, broken Xbox, and serious boredom, coupled with great bike riding weather and a pal that hates his Chinese wife and spends the hours of 11am to 1am out of his house and happily riding his bike all around town.
So down about an easy 10 K, and out of the large size to umm, no noticeable fat and my ass looks really good ( I checked in the mirror and asked one of girlfriends to look at it and give me an opinion). |

recently at lunchtime I walk quite fast and long distances and it works very well. Bike in this city doesn't attract me at all, while walking is very interesting. |

I do both. Have a new Ipod Touch and walking with it on is great.
Biking is exciting in a suicidal way and the distances traveled are far greater allowing me to explore previously unknown areas. |

I must say my friends in Europe act more normally than the foreigners I met in pubs of Shanghai. Any exchange is allowed, but it's based on happiness and understanding.
If you agree with me, I would like to ask you to:
1. stop blame girls in shanghai, and pretend to be a victim. Good social environment is shaped by yourself, not others. If you cannot, you should leave.
2. Learn some Chinese. Discover yourself about China and Chinese women. There are a lot of good women, but they don't go to pubs. Maybe you should not always stay in those western communities in Shanghai. It's so expensive there and normally Chinese don't live there!
3. Show some empathy to girls in shanghai, even those prostitutes. It's not a open society, many of them are victims. How can you behave so indifferently to many sad stories hidden behind. |

I agree with you, it is not morally wrong to want to have nice things. However: IT IS MORALLY WRONG TO F&CK MEN FOR MONEY TO GET THOSE THINGS INCLUDING MARRYING THEM, cause that makes you a full time prostitute .
Nobody is saying that ALL Chinese women are who's, but there is a large amount of them in the EXPAT scene and honestly I don't see why expat men should not take advantage of what is so easily offered to them (in exchange of something, cause I doubt that is offered for free).
At the end of the day, people tend to get what they want (and even what they deserve  )....... The expats that want "all you can eat" will get that, the expats that want 'nice girlfriends' will get that as well. As far as believing all SH girls are if ill repute, I couldn't disagree more! I think that the girls here are frustratingly innocent for the most part. I fgiure the average 15 year old westerner has had more play than the average 23 year old here. Most of the early 20's types have never even been kissed! And another thing, massage girls and hair dresser girls are usually not prostitutes either. That's just what stupid foreigners think. For the most part they are just as innocent as the average SH girl. Case in point, I was seeing the same massage girl for fully clothed massages 4 times a week for 2 months. I kinda liked her and one night I went their drunk and tried to grab her ass when we were alone, she slapped me across the face and I had to do an awful lot of apologizing before I could get my massage. The place I currently go now is the same. The girls are practically afraid a guy might try something and make every effort not to allow any inappropriate behavior (and it costs more than the "out call" girls in classified sections on sites like this!). |
