You can go to the Taobao Mart (淘宝城). It is on Nanjing West Road (南京西路) close to Chong Qing North Road (重庆北路). This is a large indoor cheap market.

As for a Spa, I would recommend the Bund 5 Spa Oasis. The details are as follow:
5F, 5 on the Bund, 5 Zhongshan Dong Yi Lu,
(entrance at 20 Guangdong Lu)
中山东一路5号外滩五号5楼(近广东路)
Tel: 6321 9135

Or the Fenshine market on the corner of Nanjing Xi lu and Chengdu Lu, or the big market at the Science and technology museum in Pudong, it's not too far out really.

The bund 5 spa oasis is fantastic and any of the Dragonfly spas are great too and there are so many of them around town there's bound to be one near you
