Post subject: Shanghai Expat Wednesday Night Mixer At Malones!

Shanghai Expat's Wednesday Night Mixer is back by popular demand, but this year in a new more centrally located location at Malones on Tong Ren Lu!

Starting this coming week, the event will be held at the Malones on Tong Ren Lu. We have booked the new third floor bar (the loft) for the use and enjoyment of our Shanghai Expat members and guests.

Come enjoy this spacious venue with friends where standard drinks are only 25rmb!

So come join us to kick off the start of ShanghaiExpat's Wedneday Night Mixers! And bring your friends!

9PM at the Malones on Tong Ren Lu between Nanjing Lu and Beijing Lu. See you all there!

(this post has been edited to reflect NEW location. Please ignore references to previous location (SPY) in the rest of this thread...event is now moved to MALONES)

there shoudl eb quite a few folks there, though I admit usually the first week after a nreak, the attendance may be a bit unpredictable.

All attendees this week get VIP pricing. In fact its VIP pricing for all our events held there. Register this week and we hope to get VIP cards out by next wednesday to you so that you can enjoy VIP pricing throughout the week. Smile

Wow, despite short notice and several other activities happening the same night, our first Wednesday Night Mixer of 2005 was really fun. Thanks to all that came and participated. Seems a popular time for birthdays too as several members celebrated with us last night.

We look forward to seeing even more people next week!

Hi guys -- I just moved to SH last week, and I definitely want to get to meet you all.

Will next week's event be at the same place and time? I live in Nanyang Rd, right behind the Portman, so it should be really close for me if it is!

Are there 2 networking events on Wednesdays??? Madhouse (8pm) & Spy Bar (9pm)....which one would you recommend and why?

we changed our location from Mad House (last year) to Spy Bar this month, so come by the Spy Bar Wednesday. Not exactly a networking event, perse, just people getting togetehr and having a drink and hopefullly having fun too! Smile

May I suggest you change the info on the activities calendar. That's why I got confused.

Go to top left hand of the website...under LISTINGS and then scroll down to CALENDAR.
