Get Ready, Get Set, Go!

Fasten your seat belts for the 2009 Auto Show in Shanghai (April 20-28) held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center is bound to blow you away!

A showcase of largely upgraded Chinese car makers from Great Wall, Roewe, Byd, Brilliance to Chery is proof that domestic demand is on the rise. Chinese car makers have emerged out of the global economic turmoil due to, in essence, its independence from export market, and its product development at cost-effective pricing. Other longstanding automakers are still trying to hold on tight with sales plunging worldwide, this auto show will hopefully help fire up the intention to purchase of car buyers.

GM; Ford; Buick from America, Suzuki; Honda; Acura from Japan, Peugeot; Citroën from France, Lamborghini; Maserati; Ferrari from Italy, and Mercedes-Benz; Audi; VW; BMW from Germany, Geely; Lifan; MG from China, just to name a few, are all stunningly beautiful from the interior to the exterior design. Unable to resist, you are sure to be tempted to reach out for the car handle, put your hands on the wheel, gaze at the odometer, and let your mind wander where this new ride will bring you. A selection of vehicles from gas-guzzling, 4-door sedan, 2-door coupe, convertibles, SUVs, mini-vans, pick up trucks to hybrids, you can truly find them all at the 2009 Auto Show.

Needless to mention, auto show without pretty girls is like a can of coke with no CO2. "What? No bubbles? No way!" Rest assured for eye candies are all over at the auto show so make sure to have your camera ready.Another rather impressive observation is that car makers are working towards improving corporate social responsibility by making cars that are eco-friendly. Almost every car maker has its own concept model of hybrid vehicle that may already exist on the market or going to be in the very near future; can we say that Green is the new Red?
