Photo Gallery: Take a Day Trip to Suzhou

Foreigners in Shanghai tend to get caught up in the daily grind of living and working within the city limits. As much as we enjoy Shanghai, now and then a break is needed from the fast paced life of the city. Getting out and away for a day is a great way to recharge, and to see some of the surrounding community as well.

Suzhou is one popular destination, an ancient city of canals and gardens. Located only a half hour by train from Shanghai, this tourist town is a great place for Shanghai residents to go to in the morning, sightsee at during the day, and then return to Shanghai by dark.

So break away from your mundane routine, as we head out by train to the nearby city of Suzhou.
