Shanghai Airport Bomber Sentenced To 8 Years Behind Bars
The infamous Shanghai airport bomber, Zhou Xingbo has been sentenced to eight years behind bars. Zhou made headlines after detonating two explosives at Pudong International Airport this past summer, injuring four people (including the bomber himself) and delaying flights. Fortunately, no one was killed.
Zhou had improvised the explosives by stuffing various firework materials inside beer bottles, which he concealed in a backpack. He then carried the volatile bundle inside an airpot terminal and threw it at a check-in desk before slashing his own throat with a knife. The court reported that Zhou taking extreme measures to vent after suffering from relationship issues. It appears he's not exactly the Albert Einstein of suicide bombers either.
