About China

The latest instance of Mainlanders not giving two hams, this local resident decided to brave walking his dog down part of the Beijing-to-Shanghai Expressway, as the road was "cleaner" and "less muddy". Because preventing a little mud on your trousers is surely worth the risk of being hit by a truck going 110 km/h.

The daredevil dog walker was discovered when local police in Xuzhou were checking the CCTV footage and noticed him walking down the expressway. One of the officers knew the man, identifying him as Mr Quan, commenting that he had took his dog out to a leisurely stroll on the highway to avoid the rain as his usual route was too muddy.

At least he didn't decide it would be a good idea to let him off the leash there...
