This column voices the opinion of a man without fashion sense, just trying to navigate these highly fashionable streets. Capturing different looks seen in the city from crazy outfits to incredibly high-heels to hair-do’s reminiscent of the feathers of tropical birds of paradise, this man’s opinion, though under informed will be hilarious…hopefully.
Each week I’m going to talk to Shanghai-based designer’s of all things on our bodies: clothing, hats, hair, make-up, tattoos, piercings. I’m going to ask them questions about where they see the fashion scene of Shanghai going, recount funny stories as well as give our readers a “Shanghainese Fashion Tip” or SFT. You can read my feature piece each week on the SHEX Front Page, and you might even catch a glimpse of my SFT in our Shout-Out box! So get your cameras out. Pay attention.
