From the BBSs:

- Nanjing East and West Roads will be the next two stations to go human ticket-seller-less. Eventually, all Line 2 will follow. Century Park and Shiji Avenue were the first two stations to abandon ticket windows in favor of automatic ticketing machines, with a service counter next to the exit for other miscellaneous services. Last week Lujiazui switched to all-machines, but was obliged to open a couple of windows selling only RMB 3 and 4 tickets when rush hour crowds overwhelmed vending machines at the north end of the station. Already, construction has finished on Nanjing East Road's service counter and the stored-value card return service has been moved there. One major positive point for the new system is that a few two-way turnstiles are installed next to each service counter to convenience passengers who need to manually add money to stored-value cards, which provides another entry point -- albeit a small one -- to each station platform.
- Ditiezu:
- Evidence is mounting that the planned Line 3/8 interchange at Hongkou Stadium, eventually proposed to be the site of a four-line interchange, will not be functional by the time Line 8 opens in late December. Forum members are calling this a "second Zhongshan Park", and statements like "其中的原因不便在论坛上说" ("for reasons which cannot be revealed publicly on this forum") are compounding speculation of property developer collusion/corruption.
