I was wondering where to get kitten formula, as my kitten is still in the weaning transition. Does this require a vet trip, or do any local shops/grocery stores carry it?

Try PAWS, St. Anthony's Animal Recovery Hospital, and I have seen it in City Shop but that was in the one next to Yanlord on DingXiang Lu (Pudong). Most pet stores will also sell this. Good Luck!!

We bought the Lactol for our cat at PAWS. They are selling the bottles there too.
Make sure that you buy at least two teats. They love to chew on them
If your cat has some kind of digesting problems: instead of water we mixed the milk powder with chamomile tea
