Don't know how many single fathers are here in Shanghai..I'm one, raised my daughter alone since she was 3 months old, 6 years old now, and I know of a couple others, just thought it would be cool to maybe all get together somehow, have some drinks, let the kids plays or something..
There's always single mother groups and stuff etc etc..So figured it could be cool if we did something every now and again, if there's any other fathers like us...

Why not get the single mother groups together with the single father groups? You never know what might happen........!

My brother is single father for like 12 years and he gets to shag so many single mothers, basically he could shag one new every week...
I was thinking about borrowing his son sometimes and pretend I am the single father.
He told me he is not going to marry EVER again - now whenever he wants he can call some of those gazillions of single mothers. The rest of the time he can do whatever he wants...

Bilayu. Good on ya!! Great idea indeed for a group. There's planty of groups back home called Parents without Partners. You could incorporate single mums as well. I am guessing the family support webbsite groups would be the best place to start as I'd say many of your potential fellow groupies are members.

Everyone, what i mean by single father is not actually being single in a sense of having a girlfriend..It means fathers who raise their kids by themselves, have custody of their kids, as I do, either through divorce, widower, etc...I've been here for 6 years, of course I have a girlfriend..Basically fathers whose children live with them or spend a lot of time with them..

You know it is tough on the kids, no matter how you cut it. I think it is a great idea. and good for the kids to have peers to interact with.
