2009 Shanghai International Beat Box Performance & Competition
In order to enhance the motivation of the artistic enthusiasts to participate in the arts festival and popularize the different categories of arts, the first session of Shanghai International Beat Box Performances & Competition, which is a music competition full of fashion, will be held the 11th 2009 Shanghai International Arts Festival.
Beat Box (B-Box for short), is a popular musical expression in western countries at present. The form is considered generally as ventriloquism. Generally, Beat Box can stimulate rhythmical music which is made by a variety of machines, such as the drum buddy, the electronic drums and other types of instruments. This artistic form is very popular among the young people. In Europe and the United States, large-scale Beat Box game is held every year. Now, there are 22 B-Box unions and associations, such as Human Beat Box, Guangzhou B-Box Association, etc. On the Youku, Tudou and other video, there are more than ten thousand people watch the B-Box performances. Since a program about B-Boxers was broadcasted in the program Day Day Up of Hunan TV, Beat Box became more popular in China and many young people start to learn Beat Box. In another program Celebrity Coach, Lin Junjie and a contestant ChuQiao performs a B-Box performance Riversouth together and made more popular.
Shanghai is an international metropolis as a fashionable trend leader. The international Beat Box competition held in Shanghai will be able to attract fashionable young people. The scene must be full and it must stir up new fashion because of the strong rhythm, the vivid vocal skill and the ardent atmosphere.
2009 Shanghai International Beat Box Performances & Competition is hosted by the Center for China Shanghai International Arts Festival and undertook by International Arts Festival Friends Club and Shanghai Hengcheng Advertising Co. LTD, China. Shanghai New Entertainment Channel, Shanghai Oriental Radio 103.7, ICS, NetEase, etc., are all the media support organizations. This competition aims to popularize and promote fashion Beat Box culture in China so that more young people can know about the form of it and learn the skills. It also provides a platform for Beat Box enthusiasts to show themselves and communicate with each other.
This event is the most authoritative, professional, interactive and entertaining event in China presently.
Professional: A large number of stars from the United States, United Kingdom, Korea, HongKong and Taiwan will be invited to give performances and attend the event as judges.
Authority: The guests and the judges invited are not only international stars, but also the top B-Box authorities all over the world. Therefore, whatever in the past, now and in the future, the professionalism of this event will not be exceeded. The professionalism decides the authority of the event.
Interactive: As the event is organized by the network, radio, television, community organizations and overseas competition organizations, the venue and the process of the event are all in the public areas and commercial centers. The contestants and the spectators, the enterprises and the audience will be fully interactive at the scenes.
Entertainment: In addition to inviting the B-Box super stars to participate in the event for performing and our assessment, we will also invite world-class guest performers to give performances in the various forms and integrate with the B-Box Game. It must be more wonderful and entertaining.
