Post subject: Amazing facials

After 6 years in China, today i finally had a real facial. It was amazing -- lasted 2 hours, and it was more than just massaging my face with one product after another. It was peeling, steaming and extraction of ALL blackheads (it hurt!!!! -- so good!!!), followed by a mask that was different according to the skin type on different parts of my face and neck. And it ended with a super relaxing face, head and shoulders massage.

Not cheap, but considerably cheaper than the ritzy beauty salons I have tried before and was disappointed. It was 480 for the facial -- worth every yuan and jiao!!!

I got the facial from the same girl who does my waxing. Her name is Ortal and she works out of a small salon in her apartment at One Park Avenue. She just returned from Israel, where she took a 2 months intensive course and is now certified to do facials too. You can pm me if you would like her number.

And no, I am not getting a kick back from recommending her to you -- it was just something I had been looking for for so long and didnt think I would ever find in Shanghai.

I asked her if she has gift certificates as I think this would be a great present for my mom, and she had not thought about it but likes the idea and will let me know the price and services available on gift certificates soon. I will let you know when i get that information.

I go to see her for eyebrows and waxing for almost a year. now she can finally do these amazing facial treatments nobody else in shanghai can offer.

I read your posting and You should change your title. It is really good. She is doing her works well. I think that she will become a good professional facial experts. You can try it for once and then you must like her work. You know that practice makes a man perfect.

so its a home shack? interesting.

the thai providers at banyan tree @ westin hotel can do real facial. u have to tell her u want blackheads removed and real masks.

btw, when i was in bangkok, they had this japanese place called takashi beauty salon, it does quickie facials, like 45 mins, steaming, blackheads removals, mask, massage the whole 9 yards. there are longer sessions of coz.
i was utterly satisfied, they are coming to shanghai too. keep an eye out for them.
