Unfortunately it probably won't work. I have the same and mine doesn't. You are probably better off picking up a local card just for a week or two if you need it your phone. They are very cheap there. |

If you have an account, yes, providing that you applied for international roaming when you opened the account. If it's a prepaid card, then I don't think so. |

You can buy a pre-paid sim card with some cash stored on it. Then can top it up by buying extra time at convenience stores.
There's an AIS (telco) booth near the taxi area at Terminal 1- they might sell 1-2-Call (pre-paid) sims. |

if you have an account with china mobiel then you can apply for international roaming, then people can continue to call you on the chinese mobile no. however you pay alot for this service. if you want to buy a thai simcard you can do so in terminal one at BKK. there are about 3 mobile phone booths there, with cards for different telecos, or you might like to hire a phone (depending on yor length of stay. but if you can hold off for a day or get yourself into the city proper then you could buy one from a dept store as they are better priced, than at the airport, at places like MBK. but obviously it depends on how long you are going to stay there and whether you intend to return. my recommendation is to get a 123call, card... ive had one for a couple of years and each time i get to thailand and BKK in particular i buy a top up card of around 100-200baht at the small shop (7-11 store) on the skyway between terminals 2 & 3. thats international and domestic. anyway hope this info helps.
