Hi all,
Anyone had their baby immuned in Shanghai? Need to know the price and the number of doses required. Thanks! |

Well it comes in 03 doses but in combination with 02 ones more, i paid for all almost USD550,00 because the vaccinations are imported from UK. Better you check it out with your Pediatrician |

They have but the local one only, if you want the imported one you must always order from UK, they normally doesn't have a stock of the imported ones. |

Is the imported one from Wyeth company?... My baby got his first dose of pneumococcal in Bangkok, and its provided by Wyeth. One dose cost about $125. |

the foreign owned and operated medical facilities can provide this series of vaccine, and since they are imported they are a much higher price than the locally produced ones. go for the imported products, as there's no guarantee of the quality, reliability and efficacy of the locally produced medicines. |

it's 4 shots..the one my bb took is Prevenar @ Shanghai United hospital in Puxi ,each cost around 1000rmb(not forgetting ard 100 rmb for shipping fee from Hong kong) make order first and will be available by 10days...cheers! |

American Sino now has a vaccination program for Pediatrics... in their outpatient clinic: 6210-2299. Dr. Kuo runs the clinic. I had a baby with him 2 weeks ago and he seems to be one of the best OBGYN in Shanghai. I can certainly vouch for his experience as I had a really wonderful birthing experience at American Sino. |
