| Post subject: Apple Mac Second Hand |
Hi,
Looking for an Intel Chip Apple mac laptop / desktop / mini e.t.c that someone would like to get rid of on the cheap ... even a broken one I can repair .. just need to do some dev testing.
Thanks for any suggestions posts on where to get one. |

Go to the Second Hand Computer market near the Baoshan Metro station on line 3/4. I was there two weeks ago and saw several white macbooks ranging from 4400 to 5400 rmb, some were rough looking but seemed to be in working order.
There are a few on the first floor of the building, but on the second floor there is man that has a whole table full of macbooks.
I don't know if these are reliable or not, but test it thoroughly before buying I guess.... |

Hello, I am Jack. I am Shanghainese so my English is not good.
If you want to have MAC OSX on your computer, then there are two possibilities: You can buy a desktop or laptop by yourself in another place then I can install the MAC OSX on this computer or you can buy a desktop or laptop from me which has already installed the MAC OSX.
The laptop's configure is:
INTEL ATOM N280 1.66G
1G DDR2
160G HDD
100M NETWORK
54MB WIFI
SOUND CARD
13" LED DISPLAY
TOTAL PRICE IS :2650 RMB

Still a bit new here - is the market easy to find from the subway station (like same building or do I need to find it across the street)?

I know you said you're after an Intel but I have a 12inch G4 macbook I'd be willing to offload if you're Interested. Runs Tiger but is more than good enough as a netbook. |

I'm guessing if he wants to do development testing then the obsolete processor isn't going to work. I use my old G4 as a home iPod attached to my sound system. It's also a great doorstop! |

I was using my G4 cube as a doorstop for a while.
Its now a fishtank (finally!), although sans water, and sans fish. But it has all the perspex bits finally installed. Yay for neighbourhood glass guy for helping out! |

If anyone else is interested: just take the exit from the station, cross Baoshan Lu, the 'market' is situated behind a little park, south of the KFC. Easy enough to find the location, easy enough to find what you're looking for.
(and always haggle, although they don't start with insanely high prices) |
