I'm looking for a soccer league in Pudong area? or a group to play soccer. I live in seasons Village.
Any idea?

Hello KTK and Xristos, We have a local team since 1997, play 7 to 7 in a well pitch every sunday morning.
The pitch is in YangPu area, ZhouJiaZui lu and AiGuo Lu junction, BaiYangDian football school. It's not long way from Pudong side's YangPu bridge to get there, may 5-6Km.
Anyone will be welcome to our team with the only reason that you are really love soccer or enjoy soccer.
The team is not for money at all, everyone just share the pitch's cost (600CNY/3 hours).

Hello,
I am from Canada and I am looking to play some soccer too! I have played all my life and I am hoping that I can continue to play while in Shanghai. I am a 22 year old female. Can I play with this squad, or is it only for men? Which nights do you play? How easy is transportation to the field - I am in south shanghai along subway line 1.

We play for fun, female is not problem.
We play at north in ShangHai, if you take line1 to us, you can meet an American guy at "HanZhong" station then it is easy to get to the pitch with him. |

How do you go about getting involved in this? Are any teams looking for players? What is the standard? I'm 27 and living in Pudong, not played football for three years but would love to do some regular training and the chance of getting a game.. |

I can introduce some team for you in Pudong. But it is local one. we play for fun, so we don't need rude guys. It is very cheap around 40 RMB/3 Hours on Saturday and 35-40 RMB/ 2-3 Hours on Wednesday night. And it is very strict for the attendance. if you could not come, you should apply for team leader. |

Hello Everyone!!!
I'm a malaysian. I have been posted to Shanghai on a 3 year work assignment.
Would like to play soccer to burn some of my flabs...
Can I join any of the soccers sessions on Saturdays or Sundays? Although I like to play, but not too good at it. I'm 32 of age.
I'm currently putting up along Nanjing Road while searching for an apartment. Can I join any of you? |
