Post subject: Best place for a Western Family to live in Hong Qiao

My husband and I along with our two boys 2yr and 4yrs are moving to Hong Quio in July from St. Louis Missouri. I think we are going to send the boys to Rainbow Bridge Kindergarden, but are confused about housing.
My husband is there right now and is looking at homes for our family. He is looking at Yanlord Riverside and Green Vally Villa. Which place is more suitable for a young American Family like ours? Or is there another recommendations in the Hong Quio area?

Thanks

Yanlord is nice because of the facilities. If you want really nice quality you should try 555 Huang Jin Chen Dao. Mainly Japanese & Koreans in those complexes but damn good quality. We are moving there tonight. Facilities are not as good as Yanlord but they do have SPA, indoor pool, spinning, LEGO play room, fitness, dance classes & aerobics. Its right next to Rich Garden in Gubei

Yan Lord has a GREAT facility but is a little bit of a distance to convenient shopping. Of course if youa re hiring help to buy stuff for you, youc an literally stay on that compound all week without leaving. Metro isclose by but with 2 kids, its a challenge to travel out without help.

januza'a suggestion is good also, as its close by to lots of shopping and such too but alot busier so depending upon where youa re mving from, it may me somewhat of a shock.

Green Valley Villas is way closer. But there are lots of villas in the area. Heck, you could even live on Hongmei, which is a little bit better in terms of proximity to restaurants, supermarket, etc. 10 minute drive in morning. Gubei is a bit farther, but also closer to the other necessities. Yanlord is quite a ways drive, but I'll agree with everyone about those facilities.
