I am having a nightmare here and I'd appreciate if anyone has been through with this. I tried the search function, nothing useful came out related to my question. I also went to the PSB yet naturally they know nothing about what type of certificates I am supposed to have before applying for Z-Visa. So here is what's happening.
I went to the Labour and Social Security Bureau - "劳动和社会保障局” twice already to get the “Alien Employment License-就业许可" with no luck. All I know that this certificate is only issued to those who work for Foreign Owned Company or a Chinese Company as a labor or something but not to those who work as Chief Representatives.
Labor Bureau staff was friendly and seemed he knew what he was doing and also showed me the Rule-Book thing only after I repeated like thousand times that I needed the Alien Employment Certificate and it's very clear to me Chief Reps are excluded from having had to have this certificate but both the agencies in Hong Kong insists on having it in order to apply for z-visa so it's like a nightmare came true.
What I have now is "工作证" (Working Card) and 鉴证通知表 (Z-Visa Notification Form) and when I checked with the agency in HK to verify whether they are accurate or what, they say I definitely need the Alien Employment Certificate but I simply cannot get it here and I am 10000%sure of it.
