Post subject: how leaving a job affects a visa

this was asked awhile ago but i cant seem to find the answer: i recently received a new 2 year residence permit (visa) from my company. what happens to my visa/residence permit if i leave the company before the 2 years is up?

Your work permit can be cancelled by your employer easily.

You are not able to continue working on your residence permit, but it will usually not be cancelled outright unless you physically surrender your passport to the PSB in order for them to cancel it.
