Post subject: xpat show registration too much info

I just went on line to register for the upcoming expat show. I think they are asking for a bit too much information for a simple show registration.

Marital staus, # of kids, tel #'s, address, nationality, occupation, age, work department, E mail address. They are all mandatory to register.

I hope they let people in at the door without all that information being needed. I don't need my information sold to everyone in China I get enough unsolicited crap already.

haha, yeah i noticed that too

but at the end of the day i still decided to fill it up and make a hard copy of the confirmation.

well, i guess sometimes, it is much easier to just go with the flow.

well, it's their choice how they earn their living. So I think it's fair enough to hate them.

Personal information leaks swiftly indeed, if you buy a house, less than a week after you got the key, you will surely get calls from various housing agents asking if you'd like to sell or rent.
If see a gynea and confirmed pregnancy, soon there will be various posts/calls from insurance brokers, milk powder merchants, baby stuff sellers, etc.
