Post subject: College for English Speaking Students in Shanghai?
My husband is considering a position in Shanghai. Does anyone in this forum know if there is a college or University where an English only speaking student can continue to work on college credits that will transfer to US Colleges?
Also.......anyone know of a college where an English speaking student could continue with a music degree?
Is tuition comparable to US? Having a hard time finding this info.
Any info would be appreciated!

Many non-Chinese universities have study programs in Shanghai but they are generally study abroad programs for students who have already enrolled at a home university. IES or CIES may be able to tell you if there are programs available where a student can apply directly to the program.
You could also consider a non-residential program with an English-speaking university. I'd steer clear of commercial on-line degrees but there are several schools that only require you to be on campus for a month of each year. For instance, the New York State university system runs Empire State College which allows you to earn a degree without being in residence. Of course, it wouldn't be the same as the real college experience.
Shanghai has an amazing conservatory but I doubt you could earn a degree there without speaking Chinese - even if music is the international language
