| Post subject: bike registration |
Some say I should register my bike and get the small plate, some say I should not worry.
Did you do it? Which documents are requested?
Thanks! |

Every once in a while the police get a bug up their butts and confiscate bikes without number plates. It all boils down to how lucky you think you are. |

Your bike is much more likely to get stolen than get confiscated.
Spend the money and get a quality lock instead.
They're busy with other things and it's not exactly easy to confiscate a bike, since it doesn't fit in a car. |

It all depends on how lucky you are. It is not uncommon for the PSB to go on a spree to nab people on illegal bikes. |
