Post subject: Korean Fried Chicken? (the other type of KFC)

Are there any places that serve Korean-style fried chicken? I'm not sure if there's a name for it, but basically its fried very crispy with a sweet/garlic/soy sauce batter and very little fat. Its popular in the States now. Here's some info -

5 years in-country i havent seen anything remotely close. i think theres a korean fried chicken place by the jw marriot- haven't tried it yet.

i do miss my kyochon hot fix but after 2 and a half months in shanghai without a break, id settle for a popeye's extra spicy.

There is a place on Lancun Lu between Nan Quan Lu and Dong Fang Lu in Pu Dong. I used to live near there and loved it. Excellent fried chicken. It is a fast food joint that is based in Korea and has shops all over Asian. I have seen a couple being built in Hanoi.

Seen the Korean Fried Chicken near MingHang Jiao Tong University at a Korean restaurant. It's on the same road as one of the main entrances of Jiao Tong. I don't have the address and i dont know the road's name. But at least you know it does exist in Shanghai.
