Post subject: apartment hunting - a little help please!
Hey all,
We are 1 week old here in Shanghai... we came in last week from Houston, TX and so far we love it! We are staying in Pudong, close to the Green City area and looking for apartments right now. I have a few questions that hopefully someone will have opinions/information about. First, we have looked at Tomson Gardens and Yanlord Town. We like some things about each location. Can anyone give some guidance on these areas? Pluses or minuses? Also, equally important to me is finding a good gymnastics facility for my daughter. She is 7 years old and was just entering the world of competitive gymnastics when we left the states. Can anyone shed some light on how to find a good gym here? I don't want recreational gymnastics, but I also need a gym that speaks a little english. We are of course going to try our darnedest to pick up as much of the language as possible... but I think that's going to take awhile!
