| Post subject: Manicure, Pedicure, Facial treatment, Massage |
I know where to get my hair done in Shanghai (Benson Salon, apparently reputable in this forum )
But any recommendation on where to go for Manicure, Pedicure, Facial treatment, Massage?
thanks |

Dragonfly on Donghu Lu does all of that, I think, except for maybe facials. You can check their website. I'm sure one of the Dragonfly locations must do all that in one place. (I assume you meant you wanted it all done in 1 shop). Otherwise, its easy to find a nails place and another place that does both facials and massage. Go have a walk around your neighborhood, if that doesn't work try the trendier streets in French Concession. |

Dragonfly is not good. Their manicures/pedicures I have not tried, but for facial, massage and waxing, they suck.
In my experience,
Best manicure is Diva Life and Apsara
Best Pedicure I-Nail
Best Facial Aqua Villa and Diva Life.
Best Massage Apsara and Diva Life. |

Looking at the Diva Life service menu, the "Hydrating Spa Manicure" looks really good!
Guess I will try their "Diva Sampler" and "d-Formula"!
Thanks. |

Diva Life has a promotion this month, i think it is for this manicure (not sure),you get the manicure for 250 rmb and get a pedicure for free. Am actually considering doing it myself in the next couple of days. Enjoy! |

I prefer Frangipani for Manicures and Pedicures. Theirs seems to last much longer than the other places I've tried (Dragonfly, Diva Life, INail). I'm not really a "nail" person though and tend to go before a vacation or party - probably only 2-3 times a year. |

Personally I think Dragonfly are over rated and overpriced.
Your better off going to a clean neighborhood nail salon.
While we are on the subject of beauty - Does anyone know where to get your eyelashes tinted and for how much? |

Massage I have a personal specialist. Lady is Chinese but spent 10 years training under the best senseis in Tokyo. She charges 200 an hour but is worth it because she has medical training. Anyone need her number let me know. |

I went to Apsara Spa in Jing An with my gf for Valentines Day. We opted for their valentines special which was really good. It included an hour in their big rose petal filled jacuzzi, followed by a 45 minute signature massage, with choice of oils. Had a great time in the candle lit jacuzzi though the water was really hot at first (it was already filled for us when we entered the room). The massage was good - quite soft, with firm bits. They took their time. The place was really clean, well designed with Cambodian bits and bobs around, with soft music in the background. Gave us a bottle of red wine as we left also. Really nice. Wasn't really into massages etc before, now I am hooked. |
