2nd time I write to you tonight.
Last time I went to Hong Kong, was some time ago, but went by soft sleeper, but the time was 39 hours, so it would be about 36 to Guangzhou. Unless the trains have speeded up hugely, (and I dont think they have), I would't even think about it. Slow trip with many stops. It took me days to get over it. On the other hand, flight time is just 2 hours, and just checked Spring Airlines online price is RMB 724. (including tax).

I read somewhere that there is a train that does shanghai to Shenzhen in 26 hours now, so Guangzhou should be a bit less..... They must have sped things up in the last couple of years. |
