Post subject: Can someone recommend me a driver?

My girlfriend and I are looking for a full-time driver. S/he does not have to speak a lick of English but must have driving experience (at least three years), working knowledge of Shanghai roads, and a flexible schedule. Most of all, the person has to be trustworthy.Does anyone have someone they can recommend?

Our driver is currently looking for a new job. He speaks a little English and has worked for us for one year, before that for another expat for a year. He has a 7 seater Refine van, which he owns, so he takes care of all maintenance issues. We have a 9am to 5pm contract with him for 5 days a week, and he works flexible hours for overtime, also weekends are no problem. If you want to know more and are happy to speak direct with him (in Chinese) you can call him - name is Ji and no is 138 1809 3915. He is a very good driver, safe, conscientious, helpful, knows his way around Shanghai. We are sorry to lose him but cutbacks have forced us to give him up.

Hi ,I am Jonathan,friends call me(Johnny),I looking for a driver job,I got 11’y driver expericen,sperk English, safe and friendly.My boss has retired & back germany.(KSB shanghai).I with him 3 years. Hi neverboring,

Our driver, Zhang shifu, with car (Hyundai) is looking for a new family starting on August 1st. He has more than 10 years of driving experience, very good knowledge of Shanghai roads (he was a Shanghai taxi driver long time ago), and he offers flexible schedule – anytime you need him and he does not require regular day-off. Importantly, we trusted him – he has worked for our friend a year and has worked for us almost a year now. Never of a trusting issue. We are quite happy with his service but given we don’t use the car much, we’ve decided to stop renting car altogether. However, we would really want to help him to find a new employer.

His current monthly fee is RMB 5000, overtime included. He pays for petrol within Shanghai. Parking, tolls and petrol for outside of Shanghai trips excluded. He does not speak English so it would be helpful if you speak Chinese. Puxi family would be preferred as he lives in Xujiahui. Neverboring mate, here's your guy. Seriously, you have to admire this driver. His English is pretty bloody good. I'd even think about hiring him.

What's with all this 'sperking' of English? Honestly, I have absolutely no need for an English-sperking driver. I just want one with driving experience that knows the roads in Shanghai well. Smile
