Post subject: Is suning store crazy ??

Today i had been to Dongchang Lu and went to roam about in Best Buy and Suning. I checked the rates in suning. I think they have gone crazy.
Items are grossly overpriced.
Some examples

Philips earphones (both are same)

New egg: 44 RMB (bought my self)
Suning: 128 RMB

Hitachi Neso HDD
Best Buy - 320GB - 600 RMB
Xujiahui - 320GB - 400 RMB (I bought that myself some time back)
Suning - 200GB - 799 RMB Shocked

Is this tore 5 years back or what in rates. Simply crazy stuff

Wow, that would be a shame, they were a welcome change from musty Gome and limited selection department stores when they opened.

in April:
Hitachi ext. HDD 2.5' 500 Gb
in Xujiahui store 750 RMB

^^ what are you trying to say by this

Btw..when i went to buy HDD, the hitachi neso 2.5" 500 GB was coming to around 620 RMB (after bargain offcourse)

And I never went to suning or best buy shopping.It is too expensive!

^^ best way to buy that i think is

1. Go to Xujiahui station
2. Go to best buy and check the prices
3. Go to metro city or digital plaza and haggle for around 30%lesser price
4. Get the stuff for cheap and be happy Smile

Large off-line department stories unable lowering prices so fast like small shops do it. On reason what first have large physical stock of goods and they can't sell it for less. But, if we don't talk about memory and some electronics - Suning and Gome are good as well.

If you like got BEST PRICE EVER - try to find the product's representative, usually on top floors of electronics markets. Be informed or they will fry you.
