Post subject: Phone cards in Shanghai
I have an unlocked 3 phone and am coming to Shanghai next week, If I use my simcard the texting to Australia is $1.00 each time. What is the best provider there if I buy a prepaid card for my phone to use for texting?

2 providers here - unicom and China Telecom.

The best is China Telecom
China Unicom has bad signal outside the larger cities, sms spam galore.
