Shanghai Minjin Education Institute 上海市民进自强进修学院

Location

Founded in 1986 in Xu Hui District, Shanghai Minjin Education Institute is a comprehensive Continuing Education School with approximately 20,000 full-time and part-time students every year ranging from elementary school children to adult learners. We provide extended expertise in a wide range of general studies, e.g. foreign language studies (Cambridge English, New Concept English, Japanese and etc), college/high-school entrance examination preparation courses and various vocational trainings.

The school holds up to 10,000 students every year, 461 teachers and 152 faculty members. Up till now, we have a school alumnus of around 440,000 students.

Every year, we organize free services for the local residents and have contributed approximately RMB 1,000,000 for social charity services and community services for the past decade. In 2001, we donated RMB 200,000 into building a new School “Minjin Ziqiang Hope School” for the children in poverty in Guizhou province and continues annual contribution ever since.

Shanghai MJZQ Education Institute has received more than thirty government awards.
