2nd hand books : Now at Bell Cafe

Postby Pierrro » Mon Dec 01, 2008 12:12 pm

Hi

BOOKLIST UPDATED AS OF 15 JANUARY. SEE AT THE END OF THE MESSAGE

November was an exceptional month for the book club with 142 books added to the collection and 49 books sold (which means a check of 500 Rmb to be send to Red Cross Shortly)...

Other big news : We are now exposing / Selling / Exchanging books at Bell Cafe in Taikanf Lu : http://www.bellbar.cn

Come visit and browse the books over a cup of coffee..

364 books to the pile now : Bellow are 3 updated lists to make it a little bit simpler...

==> List of the books available at Bell Cafe (all in English)
==> List of the English books available (but not at Bell Cafe... PM me if you are interested in any)
==> List of the French books available (but not at bell cage... PM me if you are interested in any).

Donation is still very much appreciated... Maybe in time to free your bookshelf for the Christmas presents to come ???

Cheers :-)

No pb to drop off books as well.

If it's for donation all are accepted. If it's to sell (10Rmb) or Exchange (2 for 1) please send me the list before as I will be a little bit selective.

Sandee,

I will be at Bell cafe from time to time, but you don't need me to come and trade books.
Amay the owner of the bar will be there to take your books or sell you the books exposed (and of course provide you with coffee and cake if you wish). Just ask for her when you arrive.

If you are interested in some books which are not currently in Bell Cafe just PM me, we can organise to meet someplace near the french concession to do an exchange or I can bring the book(s) at Bellcafe within a few days.

Hope it answers your question

Pierre

I'll be in France by then. But say hello to Amay for me when you're there and enjoy your reading.

Hoooop... On my way to the airport and back to France for 4 weeks.

Merry Christmas and Happy new year for all books lovers (and even those who don't  ).

The book club takes a short rest during the holiday period, however Bell cafe remains of course open with part of the collection and Amay who can share the complete list with you & sell and buy books if you are interested.

I also remain online during the month so don't hesitate to PM me if you want to book a book... Or you wish to offload some books to the club when I am back early 2009

Cheers

This to wish all book lovers an Happy New Year !!!!

After 1 month in France, I shall be back in Shanghai at the end of the week (with a few dozen new French books) and will re-activate the book exchanges... Including hopefully the exchanges at saturday coffee meeting...

In the meantime, books are still available at Bell Cafe for browse and purchase/exchange

Cheers :-)
