advice for visa situation for recently married expats

Postby mrc112 » Tue Nov 01, 2005 8:18 pm

My husband and I, both US citizens were recently married. We both have Z visas however my visa is about to expire and I don't have plans on continuing my job. Am I allowed to tag onto my husband's Z visa? How does a spouse visa work? How do I get one?

Yes you can tag along with your husband Z visa. Your situation is similar to mine. We were having Z visa and now i'm under spouse visa. You have to cancel your current working and resident permit. Prepare all your husband's documents and submit in Visa centre together with your documents. It's very easy. cost around 800rmb for 1 year resident permit and visa ( no more green book ).
