Hi everybody,

I am traveling to Japan for holiday next week (28/9). I tried to buy a Lonely Planet guide for Japan in the Foreign Languages Book Store at Fuzhou Lu, but they were sold out and would not be back in stock for another two months!

Is there anybody there that has a Lonely Planet guide (or another guidebook) for Japan and would like to lend or sell it to me? Also other ideas on getting my hands on a copy before I leave are very welcome!

Hi Everybody,

Just went to Shanghai Book City (Fuzhou Lu) during my lunch break and bought (what I believe to be) their last copy of Lonely Planet Japan! The book was printed in October 2003, so the book might be out-of-stock in other places due to a new edition coming out.

During my other search someone also recommended "Garden Books" bookshop. I did not actually check if they had a copy left, but reading a review about this bookshop (http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/en/shangh ... 1111571779)made me very enthusiastic. Think I will go there later.
