personal questions are the most entertaining, but are also the ones most likely to get this thread pitted........

- white pants do not seem popular here, and it is winter almost, but i have a good pair of heavy ones, can I wear them to work, and what color shirt should I wear with them?

Really, white pants in the winter for a man in his 30's, 40's. You can't wear that Coffee, that is an unwritten rule.
Well, if you really like them, try to go with a black cashmere sweater. Right now the black and white combination is very popular. If you want to be more edgy, add a think black scarf to your black cashmere sweater.

Why does Pizza Hut have small pizzas? their the size compared to a personal pan pizza for 1.

Why do men go on the dance floor at big clubs and just stand there and stare when you're dancing with someone. Is it common to see them standing there trying to pickpocket?

I don't answer random stupid questions like that, and who goes to Pizza Hut???? overpriced and the pizzas there are horrible. Don't ask me about Pizza Hut. Wo hen bi shen ke!!!

The Chinese women aren't as hairy as Western women, but the thing is that western women shave, and a lot of Chinese women don't shave.

As far I've seen (in the gym) they do shave their underarms, maybe legs, but not elsewhere :roll:

Fun with pain, is a thread about this who posted looking for one a few days ago, said one is near Zhongshang Rd near pples square perhaps. Not for the faint at heart, we play at 300FPS here in the States, but I'm sure its lower in Shanghai, anyone have a link to their website?

Hey Sienna...read your blogs and now i started thinking oh you might know the answer for this.....i'm looking for a really nice ankle boots in Shanghai.....i ended up buying one from Zara which costed me 500 something rmb which i'm not to crazy about....have you seen one around?

I had the same problem as you! But I found a pair of black ankleboots for only 80 RMB on Shaanxi Lu, on Shaanxi Lu they have plenty of shoestores there selling very nice trendy shoes. For 80RMB, don't expect good quality, mine are already starting to fade on the end of the shoe...
As well as the metrostation in Zhongshan Park, they sell really gorgeous shoes for 80RMB a pair!!! for an example, red lacquer pumps that are really in now.
