Our ayi's sister is looking for work preferrably, but not necessarily in the Lujiazui area. She has little ayi experience, but comes highly recommended from her sister (of course). She doesn't speak English, but has good mandarin. If you know the basics, you will be able to communicate. Our Ayi speaks very slowly to us and we have also significantly improved our mandarin. Our Ayi is FABULOUS and was very easily trained. She thinks and remembers all the things that I forget (buys fruit and vegetables as needed, takes note of when we run out of things, goes shopping, and is completely trustworthy) . I don't know what she expects for a salary, because she lacks significant experience, it would not be as high as those who have lots of experience with expat families. Those are the things you would have to discuss with her. Is this a live in or live out situation, she is willing to do either. She is looking for at least full time work.
