my husband just bought the new bbq model from bbq king. granted, it was massive, with 6 burners, and rotisserie (that we will NEVER use)---but i have to say that what made me really happy was the service we got. (esp b/c this was not a cheap bbq)---- the aiyi broke part of the gas tank connection four hours before my husband's b-day party (one day after it was set up) so we freaked out. thankfully, right after he called the co, the owner came right out and fixed it, no problem. seriously grateful, as our party revolved around my man's new 'toy'. usually i never write such 'ads', but mr. bbq king did us right and i do highly recommend him if you are looking for a bbq! service is key!!

Does anyone know of an alternative to the BBQ King in SHanghai?
I am looking for a 4 burners (and side) for around 3k. It irks me a little that you can buy made in china bbq's 6 burners plus all the tricks for Aussie dolars 500 to 600 but here in Shanghai the premium cost for being in china is +50%.
How does that work?

But where to buy gas tanks?
we are in a 12 floors building in huaihai road with huge balconies, would be perfect.
we tried to buy tanks from the gas company (wuning road) but they told us we cannot buy as we live in a tall building (limit is 4 or 5 floors, i think).
do you guys have any experience with this?
thank you
