Best way to send a parcel to Europe?

Postby loly » Sun Apr 19, 2009 11:50 pm

Hi all,

I am planning to buy many clothes while I am in Shanghai (around 10 kilos) so not possible to bring them in my luggages...

Do you know what would be the best and cheapest way to send my clothes to Europe (Geneva in Switzerland)?

Thanks a lot for your help :o

Thanks for your answer but what do you mean? I am not talking about a book or 2 but a big parcel, so I am not so sure that the China post is the best way, is it?

You could try www.sevenseasworldwide.com or DHL but it won't be cheap. Why are you buying so much stuff?

Ehm, yes I read that you want to send 10kg. And yes, you can do it with China post. I sent around 30kg with them = several parcels. Keep in mind that they are going to check what's inside the parcels. (It can take up to 3 month till it'll arrive though)

To explain it again: surface mail (= shuilulu) is the CHEAPEST option.
If money is no issue you can use DHL, UPS ....or pay the airline fees for excess luggage.

soon i will have my ads posted here in shanghaiexpat. if you are interested you can check ems.com.cn tnt or fedex.com to know more about the pricing.let say in ems site it 500rmb for 5kg to usa, for me i can give something like 400 to 370 as it really depends on volume.
