Bike travel

Postby cerskine » Tue Jun 17, 2008 9:36 pm

We are 90$ sure we are moving, and will only have one car. I'm not sure where in Pu dong we will be living. I have a 19 mo old daughter, and use the bike/trailer to go shopping here. I don't really have to worry about it being stolen, -I currently live in a nice small town. Will that be an issue in Pu dong? Will I need to lock every part of the bike/trailer up, so I can make sure I have a way to get my groceries home?? Also, how are the roads/sidewalk? (lots of pot holes etc)

Any and all advice is appreciated!
Thanks

Given the places you may likely be shopping in Pudong, there will likely be attendants watching the larger shopping area lots so likely two locks to make the trailer and bike immobile will suffice in most cases. just do not leave out overnight or anything.

Get the driver to take hubby to work and then come back and pick you and the kid up to take you shopping.
