Can I buy a train ticket from Beijing to Shanghai in Shanghai? And if so where?

I bought 2 tickets SH -> BJ / BJ -> SH at the station once last year... I would be surprised that you could not buy it now...

Shanghai usually will have 20% of the tickets from Beijing to Shanghai. The rest 80% will be sold in Beijing. I know there is a trian ticket center in Jing An temple. Its on Wang Hang Du road (Between Yu Yuan Road and Beijing Road).

Thanks a lot. I had heard conflicting things. I know you can get SH-BJ-SH but wasn't sure you could get one way from Beijing to Shanghai also.

Dude just go to any travel agent and ask. I bought BJ-SH a while back from a travel agent, took 2 minutes, no hassle, and like 20rmb commission. Very convenient.
