We had for lunch in the office Friday. Boxes were also a bit soggy, and we are only 1 block from them. It's the plastic bags. Used to be paper bags.

We got the knives and forks, but i think 2 out of the 4 times i've ordered we did not get them.

....oh, the chips were great. Probably could be cooked a bit more, but they were good.

Ok so how difficult is it to stuff up a simple order.

About 10 days ago, I ordered 1 whole chicken and large garlic fries, the delivery guy arrives and surprise surprise the garlic fries are missing.
Ordered last night, same thing, 1 large chicken and 1 large garlic fries, delivery guy arrives, what do I get, regular fries and not garlic.
I mean it's not like I am ordering 10 things (and that shouldn't be an excuse anyway), just 2 simple things, is it that difficult to stuff up???
I think they need someone to check everything before it leaves the kitchen....

My husband had an AWFUL experience with Brasa Chicken delivery this afternoon.

Took 1 hr 20 mins to arrive (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

And I quote, "The chicken roll was burnt, cold, soggy, full of gristle and too salty. so was just about as bad as it could possibly be."

So depressing, as Brasa Chicken has always been my failsafe place to get lunchtime delivery :(

Please do, so they can learn not to stuff up things.

Their Jinqiao branch is 2 minutes walk from my house. I've never seen more than a single table occupied sadly.

^ I thought the whole concept was focused on delivery rather than dining in. Certainly the Puxi one is not meant for people to eat there.

A friend and I were looking for something to eat tonight, and visiting the Brasa web site saw they had a Jing'an branch down the road from my apartment. Walking there, it was nowhere to be seen. Sure, there was a 960 Kangding Rd, but we couldn't see a sign of 960-B.

Either the web site is wrong.. or it isn't accessible and they only deliver I guess.

Good to know about the lack of actual storefront location in Jing'An before I went hunting (if that's the case)

I ordered from them first time the other day - I thought it was excellent. Big fan of the green and red sauces that come with the chicken. Garlic fries were ok, not as good as Munchies there.

Why does chicken need "sauces" with it? If it's done properly, it shouldn't need any condiments. Seems the two places that do the chicken delivery (Brasa and Commando) are inconsistent with these said sauces, so why bother?

The only sauce an Aussie needs with his chicken is a beer.

There appears to be a Jing'an branch now on Kangding, or at least the window is painted where it wasn't before.

Finally an outlet nearby. Its been awhile, but Brasas works when tasty food is the desired result and you have some bread on hand. Hope they deliver.

Of course they deliver, it says that on the window :D And the web site.

I went in there at midday and had the half combo. It was pretty good, the chips were flavourful and crispy. One of the two quarter chickens was not dry. The sauces were tasty. And they gave me mayo for my salad and tomato sauce for the fries, which means.. cocktail sauce for the fries! After a disappointing meal at Mr Pancake House earlier in the week, this was very satisfying.

On the downside, while I was waiting for the food I heard someone out back coughing up phlegm. It was a little offputting. And while I was eating, I guess there were no Sherpa pickups so the staff came out and sat at a table in the restaurant, talking and shouting. There was more coughing of phlegm to accompany that.

Which isn't to say I would not return, it was tasty and good value otherwise.

I've witnessed worse than this at one of their other venues, which is a shame.

Marco runs a good ship when he is there, but when he's away, the staff are VERY ordinary to say the least.

Marco - sort this out mate. I think i still have pics of what i witnessed, but not sure if you want to see it. The phlegm coughing is a giveme at these venues by the sound of it, and again, very unfortunate.

Marco mate, make sure you do.

hocking up plegm in any restaurant is unacceptable, but it seems to happen a lot at Brasa. Maybe the smoke gets in the Ayi's lungs, not sure!!

Also, probably best you put some security cameras in your other venues.

Hello this is Greyzz, Brasa Jing An manager, you should try Brasa and make an opinion for yourself :), the food is fresh and healthy, now our bosses spend more time in the stores and yes i agree if you leave the Chinese staff unattended they become kind of barbarians, i am new in the company and in charge of the jing an store, as the manager i will make sure that every order is taken care of, the store is brand new and spotless clean, cleanliness is 100% priority, we have a strong team, better cooks and 2 brand new aircons for those hot summer days just for you, we are here to serve you a great casual meal and become tyour third place if possible sir/madam. You should try Brasa jing an, 960 kandling lu, jing an

Brasa is confort food, an alternative to a pizza or if you are sick of chinese flavours once a week or month. Good value for money and free delivery :) i hope you like it sir. Greyzz (Jing An Manager)

Xuhui store is also better managed now, try it again, another brand new aircon has been installed there. :)

The Jing'an branch was indeed all these things. Good luck policing the phlegm coughing, and get the staff a room out back where they can congregate, so they don't come and sit in the restaurant with the customers.
