Shaxing server is laggy. Make test to Chachung, Tokyo or Hong Kong. You'll see different numbers.

Oops, HK looks worse

A few minutes later and still bad to HK

And here it is to Tokyo....

What I'd really like is fast service - anything faster than ChinaNet ADSL?

Yeah. My internet is faster, but as far as I know, no one here beside me don't have option for it in their building. If you fill lucky, ask for China Unicom's FTTH/FTTB plans, if it is availablr for you, than you are lucky as me.

Here are my tests:

So, Leftenant Saw, What exactly is your job? I hope you're paid by Speedtest.net.

SO what services are typically available to those of us not in a fiber wired building?

Who or how many different ADSL providers & is there a difference between them?

How about cable internet - like what comes thru you coax TV line?

Or Satellite internet???

Honestly, we would gladly pay more for useful service. What we have now just does not work for us. My husband does a lot of work over the internet when he gets home and if I can't resolve this he has to stay even later at the office ;(
