A good Chinese friend of mine was at my apartment and made a big fuss over a book I have called "The American Medical Association Family Medical Guide." It is a big heavy hardback book (in English of course), it cost about $50 in the USA. This is the book I am talking about:

It explains most medical conditions in easy to understand language, not doctor-speak. My friend has a birthday coming up, and i would like to buy him this type of book in Chinese. Can anybody suggest something?

If you can post the title in Chinese, I will print it out and bring the info to a Chinese bookstore and see if they have it.
