Not quite sure what you mean, but sometimes I find that a PM gets stuck in the Outbox and won't send. When that happnes, I usually just log off and then log on again... that usually sends it and then moves it to the Sent box. If it doesn't, then copy/paste to a new PM and try again....

Also found it helpful to wait for the entire PM sending process to be done ... meaning that after the message box appears that says your PM has been sent, don't just jump back into the forums, but wait until the next screen opens, which is usually your PM Inbox. Once that is done loading, you can either send another or exit the PM system. Not sure why that is, but when I began doing that, I noticed that the difficulties experienced with some PM's was reduced.

If I have misunderstood then I apologize.

So what happens when you try to send. If you enter the PM screen, click NEW POST and get an edit screen to create a new pm. Add a valid username to it and send it.. what happens. We are getting an upgrade to the PMs as soon as the site software upgrade is finished.

It shows that the message was sent and suggests three options, if I do nothing it transfers to my Inbox. But if I go to my Outbox the messages are still there... If I log out in between or create a new message it stays in my Outbox.

Michael, I wonder if the upgrade has been finished or is still in progress. I have one letter that has not left my Outbox for more than a week, I tried to edit, log in, out, all these almost every day. Does not work

The person you are sending it to need to open it for it to be moved from your outbox to sent. This is not the same as email. If you need to be in touch and they do not visit the site often, your best bet is to email them.
