Change L to F without needing yellow paper

I never registered and don't feel like paying a fine. Anyone there know how to change L to F without that stupid paper?

Can't be done.

Your options are:

1. Pay the fine
2. Try to negotiate, but that isn't always successful
3. Find and agency or hostel that will issue you a backdated yellow slip (for a fee)
4. Check into a hotel for a few nights, ask them for the yellow slip and then tell the PSB you were traveling
5. Exit the country and register within 24 hours of arrival

Even if you go to an agency for the visa, they will ask you for the yellow slip (some may be able to get one for you for a surcharge).

depends where you get it... if you go to the PSB, it's blue now, but in my building, they are still yellow for some reason. guess they never updated the forms. either one works!

oh ya??? They took my yellow form en said it was from last year, I needed to get the 2006 one... it sounds like some book edition or something... troublesome

i had to use the yellow one three times this year and it was okay... but it was back march, april and may so maybe there was a grace period built in for a while.

I'll just get a yellow slip from a hotel and show it to the visa dude and say I just got to shanghai from travelling.
